Celebrate the tenth anniversary of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story™ with a limited-edition Kunu that’s one-part epic finale, one-part Death Trooper intimidation, all-parts masterpiece.
For this special shirt, we wanted to focus on that iconic movie poster that evoked the same feeling of excitement not seen since Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. Death Troopers?! Palm trees?! A beachfront landscape?! What is happening? As we tirelessly scoured the Lucasfilm archives from a decade ago for inspo, we came across a 2016 style guide called: “Art Collection Asia – Portfolio”. When we opened it, this stunning work stopped us in our tracks. We had never seen it before, and were instantly enamored. A background of machines in motion with a stylized hand that somehow captured the movie. Director Krennic’s personal guard marching into battle. A tableau of sandy, smokey colors that presents Scarif in captivating yet ominous fashion. It evoked the feeling we were searching for. The feeling of stepping into a brand-new Star Wars™ world we had never known. And now we want to share that feeling with you.
